Directory role

Vacation by Host is an independent short-stay rental directory and inquiry routing platform. We list properties and introduce travellers directly to property hosts.

Vacation by Host does not take bookings, does not collect payments or security deposits, does not provide checkout, and never touches guest money. All rental contracts, stay agreements, pricing terms, house rules, and financial transactions are negotiated and executed directly between the traveller and the property host.

No rental liability

Vacation by Host is not an owner, landlord, property manager, real estate broker, travel agent, or insurer. We do not inspect properties, verify host claims, or guarantee the condition, safety, legality, or availability of any listed property.

Vacation by Host disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, injury, cancellation, delay, or dispute arising out of or related to any property listing, booking agreement, payment, or stay.

Vacation by Host does not operate a traveller customer support desk, booking helpline, or dispute resolution service. Any dispute regarding a stay or financial transaction must be resolved directly between the traveller and the host.

Inquiry data

When a traveller submits an inquiry on Vacation by Host, we collect the personal data provided in the inquiry form:

• Name
• Email address
• Optional phone number
• Travel dates (arrival and departure)
• Guest count
• Inquiry message

This inquiry data is passed directly in full to the property host to facilitate direct communication regarding the stay. Inquiry data is retained indefinitely with no automatic or scheduled deletion. An administrator manual purge-on-request is the only removal path for an individual traveller's data — request removal via admin@vacationbyhost.com or privacy@vacationbyhost.com. Acceptable use

Users agree not to submit spam, abusive communications, fraudulent inquiries, or unauthorized commercial solicitations through the platform.
